Conan O’Brien hosts TBS’s popular, Emmy®-nominated TBS series. He is joined by longtime collaborator Andy Richter, with Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band providing the musical groove. CONAN originates from Stage 15 at Warner Bros. Studios and is produced by Conaco LLC. Jeff Ross serves as executive producer.
Men at Work – New original sitcom launching this summer
This new comedy series stars Danny Masterson (That ‘70s Show, Yes Man), James Lesure (Las Vegas), Michael Cassidy (The O.C.) and Adam Busch (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) as four buddies who work together at a magazine. Masterson plays the recently dumped Milo, whose friends are determined to help him get back in the game. Lesure is Gibbs, a photographer and successful ladies man. Cassidy plays Tyler, a features writer who brings a dose of style and sophistication to the group. And Busch is Neal, a somewhat nebbish reporter and the only one in the group with a steady girlfriend. Together, the four serve as each other's wingmen as they help each other navigate work, friendship and women. Men at Work was created by Breckin Meyer (Robot Chicken, TNT’s Franklin & Bash), who is executive-producing with Fanfare's Jamie Tarses (Happy Endings, TNT's Franklin & Bash, TBS’s My Boys) and Julia Franz. The multi-camera comedy comes to TBS from Sony Pictures Television and Fanfare.
Sullivan & Son – New original sitcom launch this summer
Popular comedian Steve Byrne stars in this all-new sitcom executive-produced by Vince Vaughn (The Break- Up), Peter Billingsley (Iron Man) and showrunner Rob Long (Cheers). Sullivan & Son takes place in a popular and legendary neighborhood bar in a working-class neighborhood in Pittsburgh, Penn. Filled with locals and regulars, Sullivan & Son is the unofficial “town hall” to the neighborhood. As the series opens, Steve Sullivan (Byrne) is a successful corporate attorney from New York who brings his girlfriend, Ashley (guest star Brooke Lyons – 2 Broke Girls) for a visit just as his Irish-American father, Jack Sullivan (Dan Lauria – The Wonder Years), and Korean mother, Ok Cha (Jodi Long – Beginners), are preparing to sell the bar and retire. Also starring are Valerie Azlynn, Owen Benjamin, Brian Doyle Murray. Byrne also serves as producer on Sullivan & Son, which comes to TBS from Vaughn’s Wild West Picture Show Productions, in association with Warner Horizon Television.
Tyler Perry’s House of Payne – Original series airing Fridays at 10 and 10:30 p.m. (ET/PT)
For the past five years, the Paynes have kept audiences in stitches with their hilarious and sometimes touching misadventures in multi-generational family life. Now, this NAACP Image Award-winning comedy from Tyler Perry is preparing to end its enormously popular run. LaVan Davis heads the cast as Curtis “Pops” Payne, with Cassi Davis as his wife, Ella. The talented ensemble also includes Lance Gross, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Allen Payne, Demetria McKinney, Larramie Doc Shaw and China McCain. House of Payne premiered in June 2007 with ad-supported cable’s #1 sitcom telecast of all time among key adult demos, households and viewers. The show has won numerous NAACP Image Awards and ranks among the top sitcoms on cable. Tyler Perry serves as executive producer on the show.
Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse – Original sitcom returning this summer
Writer-director-producer Tyler Perry is has struck gold comedy again with this hugely popular sitcom that ranked as the #1 show of 2011 with African-American adults. Based on Perry’s Why Did I Get Married? movies, this series focuses on three couples at various stages of their relationships. The action centers on Angela Williams (Tasha Smith), the owner of a successful beauty salon, and her husband of 13 years, Marcus (Michael Jai White). Marcus is a former professional football player who has recently partnered with Richard Ellington (Kent Faulcon) and Joseph Jetson (Jason Olive) on a new sports news program called C-Sports Now. Marcus’s business relationship with Richard and Joseph is complicated, however, by the fact that Richard is dating Keisha (Kiki Haynes), Marcus’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of his teenage daughter. In addition, Joseph’s girlfriend, successful real estate agent Leslie (Crystle Stewart), is Angela’s best friend, which sometimes makes it difficult for the couples to keep their business and private lives from mingling. The Wedding Band – New original series launching in 2012
This new comedy series stars Brian Austin Green (Beverly Hills 90120, Desperate Housewives), Harold Perrineau (Lost, Oz), Peter Cambor (NCIS: Los Angeles, Notes from the Underbelly), Derek Miller (Secret Girlfriend), Melora Hardin (The Office), Jenny Wade (The Good Guys) and Kathryn Fiore (MADtv). Set in Seattle, The Wedding Band centers on a group of guys who try to escape the stress and craziness of their lives by performing in a band. The foursome is anchored by Tommy (Green), lead singer and attractive perennial bachelor, and his best friend Eddie (Cambor), a married father of two small children. Eddie’s rock-obsessed brother, Barry (Miller), plays the drums for the group and provides his own special brand of arena-rock spectacle. New to the band is Stevie (Perrineau), an incredibly talented studio musician who has worked with a lot of great bands. The Wedding Band comes to TBS from FremantleMedia and Mike Tollin Productions.
